From the ashes of endless wars between the worlds rose one company, and is was called SLA Industries. Lead by the ruthless Mr Slayer, one of three immortal beings at the top of the sky-rocketing former arms monger, SLA Industries emerged to the galaxy's all pervading company washing away everything, which does not meet the company's interests or refuses to cooperate. Officially, people have the choice - to choose their products, their TV channels and their employers. In fact, there is no choice at all. You have to do SLA Industries' bidding or you won't do anything at all. What do you expect from a company that has been built on top of the graves of innumerable cultures and solar systems and which does not hesitate to wade through blood and claim the souls of zillions of beings every other day? Better do not challenge the order of the World of Progress! SLA Industries transfers the scenario of the all-pervading company to a cosmical extend. It deals with influencing the bored masses begging for the most entertaining TV programs while refusing to look behind the mirror by tasting reality itself. It deals with high-tech weapons and armor, tracking down and killing the company's opponents or criminal elements who dare challenging the order of the World of Progress. It deals with biogenetic creatures and the mystical Ebb, the latter of which may be regarded as some kind of supernatural power being inherent to one race (actually two) only. While SLA Indutries' background and setting are extensive, its rules are quite easy to comprehend. Only few obstacles in the form of rules have to be taken before characters may taste the darkness and violence of daily life in the World of Progress. |
