Nephilim |
|
NephelimFire, Water, Air, Earth and the Moon make the primary elements which Nephilim consist of. For aeons they have walked the blue planet in various forms, sharing it with numerous mysterious beings ever since, the most mysterious, still most inventive, being man. In struggling their way towards Agartha, the final and aspired state of their existence, the Nephilim make use of human bodies, coming closer and closer to Agartha during the mortals' life spans. They outlast most of their time bound and captured in magical jars, powerful artefacts, to bypass centuries and even millennia, only to rise again when the time has come. When melting their personality with human bodies, they decisively shape it according their own persona, emphasizing the mundane saying that body and soul are one. Players take the roles of Nephilim, which may or may not have existed in other human bodies before, thus having accumulated valuable skills and experiences. However, each successive reincarnation displaces them a little bit farther from their original manifestion - a shapeless form of pure energy shaped by emotions. On the other hand, approaching Agartha also means that their corporal hosts are more or less bent towards a physical representation of their owners' true nature. At first, this is only noticable for persons with a certain knowledge in occult matters. With their characteristic features taking shape, more and more physical alteration take place and their hosts' changes also become perceivable by ordinary mere-mortals, making it difficult for the characters to pass as humans. |
