Elfquest

Elfquest is based on the comic adventures drawn by Wendy Pini. Players take the roles of elves, fairies who came to this planet millennia ago accompanied by other mystical beings. Ever since, they are feared and fought by humans who regard them as evil spirits. On the other hand, elves regard humans as futile mortals who burn the forests, do harm to mother nature and are of no good at all. Their second prime enemies are trolls - dumb, hideous creatures whose only values are cruelty and the death of other living beings.

Elfquest uses Chaosium's Basic Role Playing system, the same rules set that is used for RuneQuest and Call of Cthulhu, RPGs also published by Chaosium Inc. This system is easy to use, but still flexible enough to simulate the details of the elves' world perfectly. It allows fluent game play without having to dig too much into the rules.
