ON GEHRELETH OFFSPRING BY SLOAN THE GRIMLOCKED *

Of the fiends, none are considered so low as the gehreleths. Farastu,
kelbular, and shator, the so-called "ignoble fiends" are so widely shunned,
that the tiefling with gehrelethian ancestry is quite rare. But, after
diligent searching, several persons of this dubious background supplied the
information for this work.

     Generic Gehreleth Traits:
     - pointed teeth
     - no ears
     - bat wings
     - stench
     - clawed hands/feet
     - four fingered hands/three toed feet

Farastu: The least of the gehreleths, farasti tend to foster more children
than the others. Most like Creebar Farast (pl/m tiefling/
Mercykiller/F4/CE), possess a broad streak of cruelty. Extremely tall, thin
and gangly, with a sunken jaw and spike-like teeth, Creebar varies little
from his father. On the other hand, the occasional tiefling like Kirkza
(pl/f tiefling/Xaositect/Wild 4/CN) turns up. Earless and bat-winged with
five-foot long arms, Kirkza wanders Limbo, gathering bits of chaos. She
takes these and gathers them into huge pile, a small mountain of stuff
floating in the soup, pasted together by the tar-like secretions she
produces.

     Farastian Traits:
     - very tall/thin
     - skin oozes tarry secretions
     - long limbs
     - major overbite

Kelubar: The most digusting of the gehreleths, a tiny handful of tieflings
have been spawned by these fiends. One of the most famous - Uggor the
Blackened (pl/m tf/Cl 5/CE) is a priest of Apomps. Uggor has the
slime-dripping, bloated torso of a kelubar with human limbs and a squashed,
flattened head. Uggor lives somewhere in Carceri, in the Tri-Faced Citadel.

     Kelubaric Traits:
     - very fat
     - flattened head
     - skin oozes slime
     - black skin

Shator: The lords and masters of the gehreleths, the shator's offspring are
lords among tieflings. For instance, Sir Rumblejaws Faversham (pl/m
tiefling/Pal 16/NG) is a paladin of Elysium, the only shatorian tiefling
paladin known to Guvner records. At age 61, with the head of a shator and
the lean body of an aged crusader of justice and light, Sir Faversham rules
the Meadows of Peace in Elysium. A ruler of a different bent is mad Lady
Torpidvole (pl/f tiefling/CE). Appearantly, the results of a shator mating
with a gully dwarf, the Lady sits, batwinged, shaggy-skinned, bloated and
ugly, ruling over a swath of desert, where pallid things gibber, on one of
Carceri's orbs.

     Shatorian Traits
     - shaggy skin
     - large bodied
     - bulldog-like jaws
     - jowls wrinkled
