Cyperpunk

The two most important things newbies learn about Cyberpunk are: "Attitude is everything" and "Metal is better than meat". Both statements epitomize the world in which the Cyberpunk scenario takes place: large sprawls of steel and concrete jungles inhabitated by zillions of unsatisfied people. Cyberpunk may be filed somewhere between Shadowrun, which incorporates the use of magic, strange creatures and mystical races, and Cyberspace, which rather focuses on a realistic display of a world influenced by technology, deploying even more sterile means than Cyberpunk.

In Cyberpunk players take the role of heros who, by following their individual path or attitute, try, above anything else, to survive. Some of them try to get rich. Some of them try to change the world around the. Only few are completely indifferent. In a metropolitan area where virtually anything can be implanted or physically enhanced boundaries between what can be achieved and what can not resemble a smooth transition and is less rigid.

It all boils down to this:

1. First, get a gun.
2. Second, get some implants. Don't worry about side effects.
3. Then rock the world and don't get caught.
